Accounts and team membership

Checks, groups, rosters, dashboards and automation connections belong to an account. A user can belong to more than one account and have a different role in each.

Select the account before creating a resource or reviewing billing. Personal and team accounts are distinct workspaces; a resource does not become visible to another account just because the same user belongs to both.

  1. As an Admin, open the intended account’s member management.
  2. Invite the member and choose one role: Viewer, Editor, Billing or Admin.
  3. Use the least access needed; new invitations default to Viewer.
  4. Confirm the invitation is accepted and the correct role appears.
  5. Review membership when responsibilities change.

Admins can change non-owner roles, remove non-owner members and request password resets for non-owner team members. Password reset delivery is an account-management action, not disclosure of a member’s password.

Removing or demoting a member affects their access and the effective permissions of automation connections. A token does not preserve privileges lost through membership changes.

Only the Owner can transfer ownership to an existing member or delete the account. Owner cannot be removed or demoted through ordinary member controls. Review the role matrix before giving broad access.
